Investing in a Storage Area Network (SAN) can be costly. Often, companies do not fully utilize their SAN. For example, a quorum witness in a Microsoft cluster requires only about 500 MB of disk space.
We offer businesses the option to rent SAN storage based on their needs. By providing scalable storage space, you avoid significant upfront investment costs.
We offer a variety of storage solutions:
- iSCSI 10 GB SAS and/or SATA
- Direct Attached SAS 12 GB SSD, SAS, and/or SATA
- Fiber Channel 16 GB
Hosted Storage Area Network (SAN)
It is perfectly possible to combine, for example, a 10 GB iSCSI SATA partition as a quorum witness with 12 GB SAS as a Cluster Shared Volume for Hyper-V machine storage. By renting Dedicated Servers and Hosted SAN from us, you avoid a large hardware investment and only pay for the resources you use. We assist with the configuration of your clusters.
We also offer packages with clustering where you can rent a number of servers for, for example, a Hyper-V or VMware cluster and lease space on a hosted Storage Area Network (SAN) with various types of connected disks. For instance, you can rent a 10 GB iSCSI SATA partition as a quorum witness and 12 GB SAS as a Cluster Shared Volume for Hyper-V machine storage.
The advantage of renting it as a service is that you gain free access to public IP addresses, which is often a limitation with an in-house solution. In the Stockholm area, you can get a 10 GB fiber link from your office directly to the data center and your cluster. This allows you to work with your hardware as if it were “in-house” at your premises.
